"Checks every row" means the running balance is recomputed line by line and the rows that do not reconcile are named. Three of these tools check totals against the opening and closing balance, which catches a missing page but not a misread digit that cancels out. The rest make no arithmetic claim at all. Each comparison page shows the wording their site actually uses.
