StatementSheet vs Lido
A general document-extraction platform with a bank statement converter as one entry point. Both turn a PDF bank statement into a spreadsheet. The table below is what each side's own pages said on 2026-09-02, including the places where Lido is the better choice.
| StatementSheet | Lido | |
|---|---|---|
| Cost per page | $0.037 — $15/month for 400 pages (Starter) | $0.29 — $29/month for 100 pages (Standard) |
| Before you sign up | 3 pages with no account and no card, then a whole statement with a free account | 50 free pages that do not expire, but only after creating an account |
| Are the numbers checked | The running balance is recomputed at every row against the printed balance, and any row that does not reconcile is flagged in the preview and highlighted in the export | Running balances are extracted; no reconciliation of them is claimed |
| What happens to your file | Nothing. The PDF is read in memory and released at the end of the request | Hard-deleted within 24 hours of a deletion request; backups purged within 30 days |
| Exports | Excel and CSV with the balance column, plus a separate three-column CSV that QuickBooks imports without misreading the balance as a debit | Excel, CSV, QBO, Xero CSV, QIF, Tally XML, JSON; QuickBooks Online and Desktop, Xero, Quicken, MYOB, Tally |
| Who runs it | Built in Tashkent by Bunyod; payments handled by Polar as merchant of record | Lido, Inc. under New York law; no founder, address or phone |
| Refunds | Full refund within 7 days of any charge, renewals included, if under 20 pages were converted since it | "All sales are final and Lido will not issue refunds" |
Where Lido is better
- SOC 2 Type 2 and HIPAA with a public trust centre, and AES-256 encryption at rest — none of which we can show.
- The widest export list of anyone we looked at, including QBO, Xero CSV, QIF and Tally XML.
- A REST API and an MCP server, so the conversion can be wired into other software; we have no API.
- Named customers with job titles and six written case studies, against no references for us.
Where we are better
- Nearly eight times our per-page price, and the next tier up is $7,000 a year with nothing in between.
- You must create an account before uploading anything; we convert three pages before asking who you are.
- It extracts the running balance but never checks it, so an extraction error looks like a transaction.
- Explicitly refuses all refunds, and the app does not work on mobile.
Choose Lido if
you are a finance team that needs a SOC 2 report and an API, and bank statements are only one of several document types you process. Lido is built for that; we do one document type without an API.
Choose us if
what you need is the numbers to be right and the price to stay small. Every row is checked against the balance the bank printed, the ones that do not add up are marked before you download, and nothing about your client's statement is kept afterwards. At $0.037 a page that is 8 times less than Lido.
Try it on the statement you were about to convert
The first 3 pages convert here, without an account. If the balance check does not hold up on your own file, you have lost nothing.
