StatementSheet vs Suparse
A European document-extraction tool covering ten-plus document types, statements among them. Both turn a PDF bank statement into a spreadsheet. The table below is what each side's own pages said on 2026-09-02, including the places where Suparse is the better choice.
| StatementSheet | Suparse | |
|---|---|---|
| Cost per page | $0.037 — $15/month for 400 pages (Starter) | $0.076 — $76/month for 1,000 pages (Business) |
| Before you sign up | 3 pages with no account and no card, then a whole statement with a free account | 50 pages once, after signing in with Google |
| Are the numbers checked | The running balance is recomputed at every row against the printed balance, and any row that does not reconcile is flagged in the preview and highlighted in the export | Validation rules are configurable; no running-balance reconciliation is claimed |
| What happens to your file | Nothing. The PDF is read in memory and released at the end of the request | Deleted automatically 365 days after upload unless deleted sooner |
| Exports | Excel and CSV with the balance column, plus a separate three-column CSV that QuickBooks imports without misreading the balance as a debit | Excel, Google Sheets, CSV, JSON, QBO; no Xero |
| Who runs it | Built in Tashkent by Bunyod; payments handled by Polar as merchant of record | No company name or address; Polish law and Warsaw courts in the terms |
| Refunds | Full refund within 7 days of any charge, renewals included, if under 20 pages were converted since it | Non-refundable once used, beyond the EU's 14-day statutory right |
Where Suparse is better
- All processing happens inside the European Union with a published data processing agreement, which a European firm may be required to have.
- OCR covering handwriting and more than a hundred languages, against our untested performance outside Latin scripts.
- Fifty free pages to trial, where we offer three without an account and ten with one.
- A developer API and automatic splitting of PDFs that contain several different documents.
Where we are better
- Twice our per-page price at comparable volume, and five times ours at their entry tier.
- Keeps your uploaded statements for a year by default; we keep none for any length of time.
- No running-balance check: their validation is rules you configure, not arithmetic against the printed balance.
- No company name or address anywhere on the site.
Choose Suparse if
your data must stay in the EU with a signed processing agreement, or you are converting handwritten and non-Latin documents. Both are real strengths of theirs and honest gaps in ours.
Choose us if
what you need is the numbers to be right and the price to stay small. Every row is checked against the balance the bank printed, the ones that do not add up are marked before you download, and nothing about your client's statement is kept afterwards. At $0.037 a page that is 2 times less than Suparse.
Try it on the statement you were about to convert
The first 3 pages convert here, without an account. If the balance check does not hold up on your own file, you have lost nothing.
